Characteristics: A small bush with very thin stems and rhomboid leaves that are usually reddish o the reverse. Produces many white flowers at the top of the stems. Is very similar to Micromeria microphylla, and can be told apart by flower colour, this latter species is purple and its calyces are hairless, while Micromeria microphylla has long hairs covering all of this structure, above all the teeth.
