Habitats: Xero-acanthic shrubs of the mountanous regions, and steppe-grasslands of Ampelodesmos mauritanica. Rock crevices and cliff faces. Mountain garriques. Rock creviceses.
Characteristics: A small bush with grey leaves and overturned margins that lives in rocky areas of the Serra de Tramuntana. When flowering it is easy to identify, as it is a fairly large, with petals that can reach 1,5 cm, pale rose in colour. Cannot be confused with other species (Cistus albidus also has rose coloured flowers, but it is a much larger bush). Flowers at the end spring.
