Characteristics: A small bulbous plant that flowers at the end of summer and through the fall. Has semi-circular leaves that extend along the ground, forming a rosette that closely resembles Merendera filifolia (The cross-section of these leaves is in form of a V). Flowers are blue or pink in colour, emerge forming a raceme over a vertical axis, when fructify forma n upwards directed capsule. Lives in garrigue clearings together with other bulbous species.
