Characteristics: A Gramene which forms dense bushes of long, light green leaves. Their long, dense, practically pure white inflorescences covered in long hairs are characteristic, and shine in a very attractive way when looked at against the light. It is a plant introduced from eastern Africa and which sporadically appears naturalized along path-sides, disturbed places and along the sides of moist zones. It flowers in summer and autumn.
