Characteristics: This Vicia is recognized by its blue coloured standards (the dorsal and great petal), and white wing petals (the lateral petals) of the flowers. Additionally, this plant has no more than three pairs of folioles, a very small number in comparison to other Vicia species. Normally it is found near the littoral but also can live in sites in the interior. Flowers in spring.
