Characteristics: This field herb can be recognised by its basal leaves, which are layed out in a rosette and have a margin that resembles the shape of a guitar, these leaves disappear when flowering and bearing fruit. The stem leaves do not have such a marked shape. The inflorescence is very branched, the fruits have a small, rhomboidal, scaly shape with spikelets on the margin. It flowers at the end of spring.
