Characteristics: The most rare of the three Datura species found naturalized to the Balearic Islands. Can be told apart from Datura stramonium by its fruits that are covered with large spiny emergences, much larger than the other species and can reach up to three centimetres in length. A species originally from the Americas. Flowers in summer.
