Characteristics: This an uncommon Malvacea, of annual lifecycle, can be found in dry-farmed fields at the beginning of summer. Can be recognized by its solitary lilac-rose flowers, with a very large calyx. Leaves are trilobate with acute lobes. Lavatera trimestris lives in the same areas and is also an annual, but has cordiform upper leaves.
