Characteristics: This composite can be recognized by its elegant elongated capitula, wine-coloured with purple flowers. The leaves are also very characteristic: very divided, with linear lobes. It is a terraphyte even though it can reach up to half a metre in height. Lives in dry and hot wastelands and flowers in May.
