Habitats: Cultivated fields, path and road sides, disturbed zones. Rocky surfaces and dry stone walls. Dry and stony soils.

Characteristics: A more or less erect herb with oval, slightly dentate, leaves. It can be recognised by its flowers with five bright blue petals; the calyx is very characteristic, it has five long, thin sepals which face outwards and are clearly longer than the petals. We will find it in rocky places in slightly moist areas. In the Balearics we can also find Legousia hybrida, with smaller flowers and erect pieces from the calyx. It flowers at the end of spring.
