Characteristics: A fairly large tree, can reach up to two metres in height, this is one of the largest Solanaceae of our flora. Like many other species of this family, it originates from the Americas, in this case it was introduced as an ornamental and has now naturalized to many areas in Mallorca and Eivissa. Leaves are entire and the flowers are large, some 3 cm in diameter, and white to sky blue in colour. Flowers in the spring to summer.
