Characteristics: This diminutive clover is characterized by it flowers, which form compact groups at the base of the plant, next to the ground. When fructifying, the calyxes become rigid. It is an annual that lives in the dry fields of garrigue clearings, together with many other annual species. Like all clovers, leaves are divided into three trifoliolates, but in the case with this species, it has a large petiole. Flowers from March to April.
