Characteristics: A small bush with dispersed branches, without forming a compact shrub; it has linear, cylindrical, rigid leaves. It produces yellow flowers which stand out very much among the folliage of pine woods or garrigues (Mediterranean woodland). It can be mistaken for other species of Fumana, especially Fumana thymifolia, although the latter has leaves with stipules, giving the appearance that the leaves appear in groups of three (one leaf and two, slightly smaller, stipules).
