Characteristics: It is very common to find this species on paths, including the relatively busy ones. It forms small carpets, with leaves along the ground, generally yellow. It is easily recognised because the base of the stems are swollen forming a kind of small bulbs. The inflorescence is a panicle with a more or less ovoid margin that is usually reddish. It flowers at the end of spring.
