Characteristics: This spurge lives near torrents (dry river beds) and moist areas, it is generally covered with hair but we can also find examples without it. The capsules are covered in rough folds and the habitat it lives in makes it easily identifiable form the other spurges; it is also frequent for it to adopt reddish colours.
