Characteristics: This plant resembles a Juncus, although it belongs to another family. We can tell them apart because the stems of this species are soft and we can crush them between our fingers, while those of the Juncus are full and hard. The inflorescences are spherical, brown in colour, and develop atop of peduncles, each one a different size.
