Characteristics: A plant typical to dune environments, it is found in annual plant communities in the inland areas of coastal dune zones. It is characterised by its very short main stem, and the longer lateral branches. The flowers have four petals (since it is a Cruciferaceae) which are pink and which once fertilized form a long, rigid capsule (silique), covered in hairs.
