Characteristics: It is a small bush in the coastal zones of Menorca (var. minoricensis), previously considered endemic to the island under the name Lavatera minoricensis. It has very wavy leaves at the margin and the flowers are pinkish with purple veins. The colour of the flowers and the wavy leaves make it possible to distinguish it from Lavatera maritima without any difficulty. Flowers at the end of the spring.
