Characteristics: An extensively branched bush that lives in the littorl zones in dry and warm spots, like the Mola lighthouse area on the island of Formentera. Leaves are linear and opposite, slightly fleshy, as are the young stems. Flowers are only slightly visable, emerge directly from the leaf axils, but upon fructification develop petioloidal spots that are rose or brown in olour and quite characteristic. Flowers during summer and fall.
