Characteristics: It is a plant with a greatly branched, woody base, always along the ground and relatively small (up to 40 cm in diameter), it has many small leaves folded over on themselves. The flowers are the most difficult part to recognise: they are pinkish and open at the end of the stems, often forming compact inflorescences. It always lives in saline clay soils.
