Habitats: Pine wood and shrubland with rosemary and thyme garigue. Pine woodlands and garriques.

Characteristics: A small bush, the stems of its inflorescences are very elongated. The flowers are a pale violet colour and the calyces are very pilous. The leaves are ovate. This is a Micromeria that is much larger than M. microphylla and M. filiformis, and can be told apart from them by its very pilous calyces. Micromeria graeca, found in Eivissa, is similar in form, but its calyces are clearly much shorter, that is much shorter than the tube of the corolla.
