Characteristics: A plant with yellow capitula, although it is recognized by its very narrow linear leaves that resemble those of a Gramineae but with a much more ample base. The capitula form erect bracts, a characteristic of the genus Scorzonera. Can be distinguished from those of the genus Tragopogon as these latter species have lilac or purple coloured flowers. Lives in the dry areas of Eivissian pine forests. Flowers in April and May.
