Characteristics: A rhizomatous plant characterized by two leaf types: one very divided, the other are only lobate. Flowers are very pendunculate and white with a pilose receptacle. Fructifies forming apical glomerules, very compressed with small achenes of a lesser size (<1 mm.); differs form the rest of the subspecies by its leaf form, the fructiferous receptacle and the size and arrangement of the petals.
Observations: A classification key is indispensable to correctly identify all of the subspecies.
