Characteristics: A very extensively branched plant, these branches either grow prostrate or form small shrubby forms. Leaves are linear, arranged in whorls, normally four and scratchy to the touch. The entire plant has a greyish tone, somewhat white. Its fragility is also a identifiying characteristic,impossible to make a good herbarium specimen, as it soon disintegrates into a thousand pieces. Endemic to the Island of Cabrera. Flowers in May and June.
