Characteristics: An herbaceous plant originally from the Americas, has colonized pathways and roads. Leaves are opposite, asymmetric, margin dentate and often with a reddish spot. Can be distinguished from the rest of the other members of the genus by its larger size, and the yellowish and reddish hues; as well, the stems grow upright in an angle greater than 45º, instead of prostrate. Flowers during the summer and the fall.
