Characteristics: This plant originally from South Africa, has colonized a greater part of the cultivated fields of the Balearic Islands and even can be found within the natural vegetation communities. The leaves are unmistakeable, trifoliate with heart-shaped folioles atop of a petiole almost 20 cm in length; its yellow flower is also very characteristic, the flowering period is during the winter.
