Characteristics: Dry pastures, rocky places, and sparse forests on calcareous soils. A plant laxly caespitose, leaves with serrulate margin, with 3-5 evident nerves. The flowers are separate or in pairs, more rarely disposed in lax cymes. The calycle has bracts shortly attenuate at the apex, not cylindrical. The petals are dentate and an intense pink in colour.
