Characteristics: An orchid that is easy to differentiate by its great size and by its basal leaves with a very marked undulate contour. Flowers are grouped forming a conical inflorescence, a deep lilac colour. The labellum is very lobate, the laterals sharp and the central one is deltoid and deeply divided into two secondary lobules separated by a tooth.
