Characteristics : As its name indicates, this erect herbaceous plant (up to 75 cm.) is very pubescent, and the entire plant is covered with very long and numerous hairs. The leaves are trifoliate, large and serrated, with the terminal end larger than the lateral two. Flowers are solitary and yellow in colour, and when closed appear to be hidden by the sepals, which appear to surpass them in length. The stipules are also fairly large, with a slightly serrate margin or almost entire.
