Characteristics : Dandelions are very well known garden plants. They have a long inflorescence with large, reddish, yellow or even white flowers. The flowers are large with the shape of a shut mouth, which opens if we squeeze them on the sides with our fingers. The leaves are lanceolate, and opposite each other or in groups of three. This plant has become naturalised in many places from gardens, to colonising rocky walls. Flowers at the end of spring.
