Characteristics : A densely branched bush, with slightly pointy tips to the branches, which makes it look like a thorny, compact shrub. It can be easily distinguishable from Dorycnium pentaphyllum because of its compactness and because the flowers practically grow on the stalks and not on a peduncle. It lives on the coast together with other species with a similar morphology (Launaea cervicornis,Astragalus balearicus, etc.).
Status : Endèmica.
