    Characteristics : This is a small garlic plant endemic to the eastern islands of the Baleares, including the island of Cabrera, where it was first described.It is a very characteristic species, as when it flowers in the summer in the midst of August, it forms a small inflorescence with a few pink or white coloured flowers which are difficult to see as they emerge from the splits in the local calcareous rock formations. Leaves are very thin a nd dark green. The bulb is also characteristic beacause it is elongate and covered with fibers. On the island of Eivissa there is the subspecies eivissanum, which lives in forest soils, is larger, with hirsute leaves.

    Status : Endèmica.
