    Characteristics : This stinging nettle is endemic to the mountains of Mallorca, and is characterized by its rounded, deeply dentate leaves, veins are very marked on the leaf reverse, and the petiole is longer than the stem, additionally, its urticants (the stinging hairs of the leaf) are very long but slack or limp. Flowers are unisexual. Flowers during the summer.
