    Characteristics : A small pubescent shrub with large solitary flowers, cream coloured. The leaves are wide and lobate, dark green in colour. The fruit is a large capsule; egg shaped and in the interior is found the seeds surrounded by a pappus fibre that is the cotton that we harvest. Differs from G. herbaceum by its calyculus segment teeth, which are three times as long as they are wide, and by the deltoid foliar lobules that are none attenuate at the base.
