    Characteristics : This is a very characteristic climbing plant in our forest systems and thickets; it flowers in summer and the flowers open their four white petals. It can be distinguished from Clematis cirrhosa by the time of flowering and because the leaves are made up of entire leaflets rather than dentate or lobulate ones, like in the other species.
