Characteristics : A small shrub with flat and lanceolate leaves, very aromatic, especially when crushed between the fingers. Differs from the rest of the thymes as it has prostrate branches and flat, wider leaves. The calyx do not have many-celled tricomes on the upper teeth, and this characteristic distinguishes it from the other subspecies; additionally this subsp. lives on another island.
Status : Endèmica (Microareal).
