Description : This is a tree, 8-10m high, with a dense, parasol-like crown. The eliptical-ovate leaves, 7-15 x 6 cm, have an obtuse tip and rounded base. They are coriaceous in texture and have a glabrous upper side, except for the young leaves, while the lower side has a dense, rusty-coloured pubescence. The fruits are axillary, sessile, very slightly pedunculate and globular, 1.5 cm in diameter, covered by a rusty-coloured pubescence.
