Description : A small evergreen bush, ranging from 10 to 15 meters in height. Shiny buds, leaves entire, and narrowly ovate, some 2.5 to 3.5 cm in width and 7.5 to 15 cm in length. Obverse side is a pale green, while the reverse is even more pallid. Petioles are 6-2 cm in length. White flowers are located along the terminal panicles and are 15-20 cm in length. Fruits are bacciform and oblong, 8-12 mm in diameter and bluish black in colour.
