    Characteristics : A shrub composed of climbing stems, and can top at 6 m. or more. The leaves have 3-5 coriaceous, dentate and very shiny folioles. The white coloured flower is characterized by its stamens that are fused in the form of a column. The sepals, entire or lobate, with glands along the margin or the foliole reverse, are directed out or downwards, and fall off before the urnula matures. The urnula is ovoid-subglobose and red in colour.

    Observations : A classification key is indispensable to correctly identify all of the rose species.
