    Habitat : Cultivated specie.

    Observations : The pulp of the fruit is edible, and is used to make juices.

    Location on-campus UIB : Puntual a l'hort de Son Lledó.

    Description : A tree 3-4m in height, it has a rounded, leafy crown. The ovate leaves are 8-12cm long, with an acute or rounded tip. The flowers are solitary or in groups, 4-5cm in diameter. The large fruits, 10-15cm in diameter, are a little flattened at the ends, and have a slightly bitter taste; they are covered in pale yellow peel.
