Distribution in the islands : Ibiza. Mallorca. Minorca.
Life-forms : Chameophyte.
Habitat : Gardens and sometimes subespontaneous.
Characteristics : A climbing plant with fleshy leaves whic are similar in shape to the ivy. It is grown in gardens where it can end up covering walls and fronts of buildings, and we can also find it naturalised along path-sides. It forms very bright yellow capitula which contrast with the greenish colour of the rest of the plant. It comes from South Africa. It flowers in autumn and winter.
