    Characteristics : An annual erect plant (up to 65 cm. in height) that’s easy to identify. The flowers are large, solitary and orange in colour, the sepals are fused in the form of a hood, the leaves are very divided and the fruit has the shape of a very elongated capsule.

    Observations : Planta cultivada com ornamental, s’ha naturalitzat a moltes bandes del món, per exemple a les Illes Canàries, tornant-se invasora d’espais naturals.

    Status : Alien species.
