Characteristics : A deciduous tree, leaves with 3 to 5 lobules, very shiny on the face and greyish on the reverse. Flowers are white and groups in corymbs. The intense red spherical fruit are very characteristic and notable.
Observations : Els seus fruits són comestibles, per això ha estat àmpliament cultivada.
