Characteristics : This spurge forms small shrubs with long herbaceous branches, a climbing plant that entwines itself in the braches of other plants, can also be found dangling from crevices Lives in midst of the spiny-cushion plants of the littoral and also between the cracks of the rocky outcrops in the coastal areas, but also can be found growing in the cracks of rock formation in the interior on the islands of Menorca, Mallorca and Cabrera. Leaf forms are variable, often linear with the apex, and either truncate or refuse to emarginate. The stems often are a light green in colour. Inflorescences have characteristic reddish glands. In the mountains of Mallorca can also be found the subspecies balearica. Flowers from spring to the beginning of summer.
Status : Endèmica.
