    Characteristics : This Gramene forms a panicle with many regular-sized spikelets; the panicle is erect at first but when it ripens the branches hang. The leaves are relatively wide. It is distinguished from subsp. minuta because it has many flowers and leaves wider than 2 mm. We will find it along path-sides, and in garrigues (Mediterranean woodland). It flowers at the end of spring.
