Characteristics : This is one of the ferns which can stand warmer climates and even direct, intense sunshine. However, it can do so because on the underside of the leaf there are many membranous scales which act as a mirror and reflect the sunlight when the fern is exposed to intense sunshine. The wavy margin is very characteristic of this species.
