Characteristics : This Araceae is quite frequent in arable land and on the edges of garrigues (Mediterranean woodland). It has much larger leaves than Arisarum vulgare, with no dark spots on the petiole, which it coincides with in the same places. The inflorescence comes out of the ground, and is made up of a large, creamy-white spathe and a clearly visible yellow spadix.
