    Characteristics : Bellardia trixago is an annual cycle herb which is very frequently found along roadsides, dry wasteland and dry arable land; it is an erect plant with opposite leaves and a spike of terminal flowers. The flowers are clearly zygomorphic, with two well-defined lips, the lower one of which is whitish, sometimes yellow.
