Characteristics: Parasitic plant, glandular-pubescent, entirely deep reddish-brown. Stems 20-50 cm, erect, simple. Inflorescence terminal, with bracts 15-25 mm, lanceolate, exceeding the corolla; without bracteoles. Flowers with corolla 15-20 mm, erect-patent, widening toward the apex; lower lip glabrous, upper lip bilobed; tube bright maroon inside, yellowish or whitish at the base. Stigma bright yellow (reddish when mature).
