Characteristics: This plant lives in rocky places in the Serra de Tramuntana, even in the middle of talus slopes. Its thin ash-grey coloured stems grow between the rocks; the leaves are also grey in colour with a linear contom about one centimetre in length. The flowers contrast with the plants colour scheme, as they are large and of oranges hues with violet lines, they have a spur of about a centimetre in length. This subspecies is endemic to Mallorca. Flowers from April to May.
